Cut A Path Through the Action-Packed Franchise Prior to It Leaves Xbox Game Pass
Although a few high-profile titles are joining the subscription catalog this month, several additional games will be to leave before the close of September.
Ninja Gaiden Leaving Game Pass
Three notable entries—Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge—are set removed from Game Pass once September ends. All three titles are modern versions of the rebooted core series and were included in the 2021’s Master Collection.
A Legacy of Intense Gameplay
Initially debuted in arcade cabinets and on consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System, the early series games offered 2D gameplay. The reimagined franchise transitioned into 3D format and significantly increased the difficulty. Additionally, it incorporated far more graphic violence, which has become a signature trait of the franchise.
Gear Up for Ninja Gaiden 4
If you curious about the narrative, the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 4 has been billed as a straight sequel to the third game. That makes now an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the lore ahead of its release. It is published by Microsoft’s game division and will be playable on Game Pass at launch.
This year, players have already experienced multiple additional releases: a remaster of the second game, along with a nostalgic side game that was a popular release.
